I can listen to music on my 360 by streaming it from my PC.

If you don't know how to do this go here: xbox.com/pcsetup

To control the music you just use the guide.

Yeah you can command it, if it doesnt listen though, try whipping it and calling it Tobey.

  • People with windows XP download windows media player 11
  • Turn on your 360
  • open up Media Player 11 up top is a library tab right click media sharing and allow xbox 360
  • In 360 dash go to music computer and it should find your PC and there you go.

Somtimes you need to allow you pc to share files.

Download the "Zune" player (you dont need a zune) has a connect to my 360 option, very simple and easy, all the songs you have on zune you have to access on your 360

get a flash memory unit, whatever it is called (anyone know what its called?)
You can put songs on there, and put it in the usb port on your 360 (where you plug the controller into :) ) and you can listen to music while you game.

Yes, you stand in front of it and say "I command thee to play music from my computer!"

I think using xbox.com/pcsetup is for using Media Center on 360. Make sure your virus protection software allows the device, also. I had a heck of a time with Norton 2005 to even accept file sharing.
