I'm getting an Xbox 360 elite and I want to know if there is another way to connect to my wireless router without using the $100 xbox wireless adaptor? I found a Linksys router range-booster that connects through USB. would I be able to use that instead?

Hi

You can connect using another computers, say a laptop or desktop computer, that is connected to the router - it could be connected wirelessly. I use my wireless laptop to connect to the router and hence the internet and it works fine for xbox live and marketplace.

Here's a great guide on how to make it happen:

Good Luck!

As neoPUN has said, you can use a USB wireless adapter. I have seen it done (with a Linksys) and it works well. Have fun with the new 360.
