My xbox 360 is not working so I'm going to take it to the shop where I have bought it... the problem is that they will sent it to the my country mainland (I live in an island) an if I also give them the hard drive to annalyse it might not return. So I was thinking about buying a memory card to copy my profile and game saves, or I could ask to a friend his hard drive and copy my player profile to his hard drive. Do this works or there is another option? thanks ;)
Your gamer profile is stored on Microsoft's server, but you can save some of your saves on a Memory card but it may or may not be able to hold them all (I think there are different sizes, and all cost accordingly.)
Just don't give them the HDD. You can't copy profiles game saves downloads ect to a mem card usualy btw. Since its all stuck to your console to prevent copying ect. Some games you cannot copy saves. YOu have to start again and save to either the mem card or the HDD.

umm i dont have a link exactly..but if you got to the dashboard of your 360 theres an option on the xbox live blade to rcover your profile. all you have to do is enter your email adress and your password then it will start recovering it back to your hard drive.
u can most likely transfer ur profile and ur saved games to a memory card, i own the core 360 and i own 20 games with plenty of space left over for more so im sure ur stuff will fit.
