Can I get some help here?

So here's the dilemma. There are these little kids on my friends list who always invite me to play MW2 and they always want to boost or something dumb like that. I met the min Halo 3 and at the time they were pretty cool and were good teamates. Now they are getting very annoying, but I know if I un-add them as friends they'll be back. My most recent solution was to "appear offline" whenever they are on, but I'm convinced that one of them is actually camping his friend list waiting for me to be online. One time he invited me before I could even hit the guide button to change my status. Another problem is that if I appear offline I can't really play with my real friends. Is there a way for me to appear offline to just them? Or is there another solution? Thanks.

Send them a message that your just not in to the way they play MW2 or to just stop inviting you, if you get no luck in that just block them.

Are you worried about them being upset? Don't be. If you have communicated that you don't want to play and they are not getting the hint, delete and block. No harm in that, so what if you run into them again. If your really worried Make Something up. I told my son to blame it on me. "my mom won't let me play with you any more because she heard you cussing" Works every time. They are mad at me and not him. Not sure if the mom thing would work for you, so make something up more appropriate to your life.
