yes u can have 2 on the same xbox soem games like halo 3 u can split screen play online. i think there is like a 4 gamertag limit or something like that.
So we would have to pay seperatly for both of them

I'd like to know the answer to that myself because I have a guest account (no xbl paid) for split screen but have never tried getting them both online.
I have a xbox gamertag on my xbox but if i go to a friends house and recover the same gamertag will the one on my xbox be deleted?JFATTY
It wont be deleted but you will have to recover it again to be able to use it online. The easiest thing to do is to use a memory card to copy your profile to, that way you dont needto recover it
