Can I play Call of Duty 4 splitscreen on Xbox Live with only one Live account?

i think u can only play with one account\gamertag per console , after COD3 had some bad issues with it , i think they took the option out , and in my view its a good call

the GRAW games have that option as well.

EDIT- Also, I believe UT3 for the 360 allows this option too.
