So i got 3 red lights the other day,after i began to spew out an abundant amount of curse words i quickly shut it off. After 5mins my younger brother came up to me and told me that its working again because he turned it on. I don't know whether or not if this will make things worse.Then i played with it after about 30mins or so and shut it off for two days.What i want to know is could i still save my box if i buy a cooling fan or is it doom 4ever.Because if its doom am about to see the inner workings of a 360.I really don't feel like sending it in to Microsoft and would rather buy a new one.
get anothercooling fan better yet, if it's under 3 years old MS extended its warranty and will fix your 360 for free. All you gott ado is contact them.

Usually once someone has had the 3 red lights the system dies eventually. I don't know if the cooling fans would do much but I personally wouldn't use one.works for me!
Yea i dunno, it's weird. I got the 3 rings on Nov 18th (I only know cuz it was two days before ME) I was just playing for the first time in about 4-5 months. It was giving the rings for a day and a half, then it started working. I got through ME without the rings, and am currently working through AC ring free, so hopefully I won't have to string 4 letter words together in ways that just don't make sense again either.
