Can i transfer data from a 360 S to another 360 S with the transfer cable?

Just wondering. It seems that i may need to replace my new Slim pretty soon. I still have the transfer cable and im wondering if i can use it to transfer data to a new Slim.

never thought about that lol.. you should call up microsoft if you don't get an answer here. i just dont know how its possible to transfer from one slim to the other because one end of the transfer cable needs to connect to the HD

or maybe i could just switch out hardives.

Why would you need to transfer from a slim?

Also you could just pull the hard drive out and put it in the other one, then plug in a flash drive and take off what you need, then take the hard drive out.
