Can I use a regualr flash drive to get my profile off my xbox?

Just wondering, i need to put my profile on a new hard drive, i do not have the pass so i cant recover it

Yes you may. I've done it recently transfering some game saves from my older hard drive. All you have to do is "MOVE" the Gamertag Profile from said Hard drive, and select your "Flash Drive" or removable device. Viola. Happy gaming.

P.S. As long as your flash drive along with the profile inside, your game saves can be anywhere.. The console system will detect it automatically and sign you in if you have auto sign-in. ;)

Just note, Xbox fills your flashdrives with 0 data so it gets maxed out even if you only put a few things in.

lol wanna know its problems?

1. Broken disk tray, will not open unless you use a screw driver

2. does notr actaully have RROD but when you start a game it shuts off and gives 2 red flashing lights

You don't just have to use USB's drives, my usb wasn't big enough so I had to use my Digital Camera lol, it worked a treat xD

You can use up to 16GB per USB device and use 2-16GB devices simultaneously.
