I've seen that happen on N64, PS2, and Xbox360 as well. (Not mine)
Some roaches are small enough to get inside, don't ask me how, bugs can get anywhere lol!
ORKIN MAN TO THE RESCUE !!! At lesat a former Orkin man.
Roaches love electronic equipment, dvd/vcr's, tv's, phones, clock radios, etc - its a heat source - such as your Xbox. The new born roaches (called nymphs) are small enough to be able to fit thru the end vents on the xbox and will make it their home. Roahces for the most part will hang out in cracks & crevices during the day, and will venture out at night to find food. If you see them out during the day then the population is so large that they are running out of hiding spots. One of the worse things you can do is"spray" for them - being that they are not a "social" pest, meaning it's every roach for it's self, they don't share food with each other - they do warn others of dangers, so if you spray an area with a roach killing spray, you'll kill the ones you spray as most products are a contact killer, but you may end up scattering the one's in the near by area and spreading them out.
What you'll want to get, either a professional to do a baiting program to eliminate them, or, if you plan to tackle the issue by yourself, get a hold of a product and you can put down in the areas where roaches are present that acts as a food source for them, but is actually an insecticide that will kill them - one product we used that worked great was called MAXFORCE - not sure if you can get this product yourself or not, but it came in a tube and came out like a gel - roaches feed on it and then die from it.
One thing to keep in mind - roaches have been know to cause breathing problems isuch as asthma n people who have not had any history of respritory issue before.

Nasty.. keep your house clean.. geez.Expo_Smacko
Roaches in a home don't alway mean it's a dirty home - I had an account that was a mulit-million dollar home that had roaches, they were brought into the home one night when they brought pizza home - the roaches were in the lining of the cardboard box
Although, roaches will survive and spread faster if there are housekeeping issues.
Ewww. Thats so gross. I really hope you don't have any roaches around you. I don't think so though. They'd really have to force their way in it, and I doubt a roach has any interest in a 360.little-kitty
u hear that, they think roaches r ewwy
find where air flows in and patch those cracks up. seal it up tight to rid yourself of these pest and then game in peace after bombing them back to hell where they came from. demon bugsmr__gameboy
If you're talking about your 360, good way to fry it.
If you're talking about your house, good way to suffocate.

Badass.
If roaches get in any of your electronics don't take them back to the manufacture or store you purchased it from because that voids your warranty.

Listen to this guy.. HE KNOWS WHAT TO DO! Ugh that is pretty gross.
So I was just wondering if anyone could answer that.ruffluffsThat is really nasty if you have roaches, I suppose it's no real way to keep bugs out of things at least for ants, which always seem to find a way to get in from god knows where. I've never had roaches so I can't really answer the question but I did see a Ant crawling on my LCD monitor. I hate bugs period, so best thing to do is pray to the gods that they don't wreck havok on your already fragile 360.
# 1 threat to National Gaming Security: ROACHES!
If you've got a roach problem, you need to take care of that before you jump back into your next round of Halo 3, or whatever it is you're playing. Become the hunter, track those buggers down, and stomp every one of them flat...then spray them...just to be sure... Everyone knows that when everything else has been wiped off of the face of the Earth, it will just be us and them...
well when i have problems with bugs i usually call masterchief altough he is more destructable
it´s risky but worthy and chief likes a nice fresh coke for payment
he didn´t show me his face though..lol just clean your house!!! kill those demons!!!don´t be lazy above all protect the 360!!!!!!
