I went to this website- http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/xbox360elite/default.htm and right on the components and features section I noticed that on the 120 GB Hard Drive that it says it can store TV shows, and movies. My question is do I have to get them from the Xbox Live Marketplace or can I record TV straight to the Xbox 360 and get Movie DVDs and download them right to the Hard Drive? Or is there some other way I can get TV and movies on the Xbox 360? Can someone please help me?:?

Note: I have dial-up internet connection, and I doubt I can use Xbox Live. Or can I

You can get AVI's and other programs from your PC if you have the proper software.  Other than that I am guessing it has to be through XBL.  Maybe in the future M$ will make into a TiVo type machine... who knows.

You can stream movies from your computer straight to your Xbox though.
