Can someone let me know what local multiplayer means. Is it split screen or what. I'm quite confused.

Networking has 3 options (I think) Live- online with others, can be splitscreen. System Link- xbox connects with other xbox's through a router or wired connection and they have their own network. Local- Splitscreen, not connected to online gaming or other consoles.

Thanks a lot you guys, I wasn't to sure about the whole local multiplayer thing, but I guess Fuel is going to be split screen after all. NICE!!

No, it doesn't. When two players share the same screen, it's still local multiplayer.
