can the towel trick void the warranty?

can the towel trick mess up ur 360 worse where it'll void the warranty? Because I wanna do it till i get my box cause it broke right when i got my guitar hero 3 =(

Same problem here man, it broke the day i bought NBA 2K8. Didnt even got to try it!!!!! I was tempted to try it, but didnt because i dont wanna risk my warranty. I dont think they can prove it if u try it though . The choice is urs. I decided to go with the safe choice and not try it
