my mothers birthday suprise was this and i was wondering if this can hook up with the 360 and show games in HD?

If it doesn't say HDTV on it, then no. Simple as that, BTW 720p is actually better for gaming.

Yes, and because it's a CRT (and not an LCD) it's natural resolution is 1080i so make sure to set it to that.

It is an HDTV and no, 1080i is better for gaming on a 1080i TV than 720p is... Shows how much you know, right? :|

Yeah, don't listen to the other guy telling you 720p is better. That's basically saying 1280 x 720p is the same size as 1920 x 1080i... The only difference is how they're displayed...
