I can't afford 1/3. I just have a 360 and I get maybe half the games I really want for it. It's not just money either. I can't afford enough time to enjoy all of the games I do get. Sometimes I wish I was 18 again. Living at home with lots of extra dough to spend on games. No stupid kids telling me that I'm thier dad and that they are hungry. Obviously your not too hungry to bother me with your boohooin. GTFO of my face!jmartin1016
I feel your pain. I have the same kind of issue. Its a time and money thing. Even if I bought every game that I wanted - i'd never have to time to play half of them.
I've now had to limit myself to getting games that I really REALLY want. Luckily I have alot of friends with xboxs, so between us we usually have most titles that get released and we can share between us.
Going back to the time thing though, i've found myself wanting to game more and more these days, simply for the reason that I don't get the time to. I still manage to cram in a gaming time, but its not really at my choosing now. I'm constantly left wanted more, so it seems to have made me a little bit addicted.
However, if my family turned around and said "hey we are giving you a week to game all day everyday" i reckon i'd be bored after half a day.
I have the money, but not the time :(
There's some games I'll be skipping just because I know I wont get around to them.
Yes, but I'm not going to rush out and buy everything full price in the next few months. When I've finished my current games I will look at getting Fable 2, Too Human, Fracture and Fallout 3.
But as the TC said - it's not just money, but how much time there is to play them all. No point in spending hundreds if you can only play one game at a time and the rest just sit waiting to be played while they fall in price in the shops. Buy what you can play, then buy another once your done.
all of you have access to a mailbox. so all of you should apply for USPS. I did and they start you at 18.00 an hour. you work one day and get roughly 150. You can work as much as you want. When you get hired you get hired as a sub and work your way up the senority list. once you reach the top of the list you can bid on your own route and recieve government benifits and you get a pay increase and payed vacation time.
As a sub you can work as much as 6 days a week and after 40 hours your get time and a half (roughly 27.00 an hour) You get EVERY Sunday off but usually your only obligated to work your sub of record route when your regular carrier takes off. so any extra days you work is up to you. My first year of employment there I averaged 2 days a week and got 600 a pay check. Enough to split my apt. rent with my friend and pay bills AND buy as many games as I wanted. If you want a lil extra doe then just call your station to see if they need help or another station in your area (they ALWAYS need help)
the real money comes in with overtime. OH!, and sometimes you get paid for not working at all. My route is evaluated at 9 hours. So if it takes me 5 hours to finish it, I still get paid the extra 4 hours for sittin at home playin my xbox. NICE.
usps.com they are always hiring. think you have to be 18 but its a really good steady job. great for those in college cuz you only have to really work 1-2 days a week. your a sub but can work as much as you want.
i can afford them its just that i do other things than sit at home playin xbox all day i will be gettin alot tho because i turn 15 in a week or two lol
