can you connect to xbox live by connecting through your laptop and a 3 mobile broadband modem becus im trying to see if i can? plz help

Yep. I have mine hooked up to my comp and out my wireless modem. Just turn SHARING on under that connections preferences and you might have to manually set the IP, Subnet, and DNS on your 360.

Oh and you need to leave your laptop on whenever you want to play online.

oh becus i tested the connection on the xbox but the ip adress keeps failing ive put it on automatic
