Can you use USB flash memory sticks to save data on the 360?

Yes you can. As long as you have the latest Xbox update that allows it.

Ok thanks. I'm getting an Arcade 360 for my mom and wanted her to have a little more memory than 256MB.

Just so you know, it has to be at least 1GB and no more than 16GB.

This. Also if you use an external hard drive with lots of storage space like up to 250 or even 500gb, it will only set aside 16gb for 360 saves on that external hard drive, but you can have two different 16gb USB storage units, so that's 32gb all together using the USB way to save data.
