Hi guys,

Just thought id share this with you. Got my brand new copy of gta on release day, and within an hour of play i accidentilly kicked my 360 over. Big horrible grinding noises came out of the drive and shock horror the disc had a massive laser burn all around it.

So i bought a new copy and had pretty much decided to use the scratched one as a coaster, but a friend of mine reccomended a website that repair cds and dvds. So i sent the disc away, cost me 3 quid sterling, and got it back in a week...

works perfectly now :) Was so happy with it i just had to pass the info on to others

Scratchbusters uk is the name of the company if anyone else has suffered this problem, ye'll find em on google

Yeah most Game stores(Gamestop) and Video Rental stores(Blockbuster) have Expensive Disc repair machines. Usually their nice enough to hook you up for free. If anything they'll charge you a small fee. Had to do that with a couple of my games.

exactly

also you cant get laser burn from a dvd drive

you just mean that the reader head scratched the disk and tbh if its was that badly damaged i highly doubt they have repaired it fully
