Canada Xbox 360 Repair/Refurbished Question?

Hey, I live in Ontario and I was wondering if they repair or only refurbish the Xbox 360 in Canada. I heard that in Canada they send you a refurbished one, they never repair it. My Xbox 360 is suffering from disk read errors, and i am sending it soon.

I don't know for sure...but when I sent mine in for repairs/replacement (I live in BC, Canada) it took like 9-10 days...this was like two and a half years ago, and it's worked great since.

I've sent in my console twice and each time it was a different unit (sent back), so no it's not repaired, it's refurbished.
