Can't hear other people in my party unless they are on my friends list

Anyone know why this is? My friends can hear my other friends even if they aren't on each other's lists, but I can't hear their friends even if we're in the same party unless I add them all to my friends list.

Check your Privacy Settings.

Thanks! I figured it out. It was set to friends only. Didnt even realize there was a setting like that.
