can't join xbox live?

whenever i try to join xbox live, when im filling up all that info, everything seems to check out except for my adress. When i finish up, it says that the Adress is not valid. I checked the info and its all valid. Well, im actually living in the philippines rite now, and since there was no option for choosing a different country, i just typed in my old adress from the US. Is this some kind of error or something? Or am i doing something wrong? Ive tried and retried joining several times now.

xbox live might not be in your area, and your old place well with the ip address they can see that u dont live in the states so yea to the system your putting in false information
