Can't launch Burnout Paradise (Xbox 360)

I bought Burnout paradise from Xbox Live, and have bought all the additional DLC's. But when I am not connected to internet, it wont launch at all? So I can't play offline. Can anyone help me, or explain why this is?

I'm not sure, but I honestly like the old version of Burnout Paradise better.
