I had wanted to try this game out for a while, but never could plunk out 800 MS points for it, but with it free yesterday I picked it up. Unfortunately, too many good games out and I have not gotten to try it out.

Well that's like buying something at a store and then it goes on sale. You don't get your money back. And to Johnr, you have to put followers where the buildings are going to be otherwise they won't be yours when they are built. If you didn't play the tutorial, I would do that.
can some1 explain to me the way followers work? i am building castles/towns and my opponent is getting the points not me!!!johnr2806
well followers basically protect ur land and if ur gonna finish a building u need to have a follower there or esle ur oppenent will place his follower and get the points
I was pleasantly surprised, I can tell you that. Going through the tutorial I wasn't gettin' a good feeling, but I didn't end up ending the game for another 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

well i just d.l. this havnt played it yet but really think i'll like it ...kinda looks like risk yype gameplay...now that's a game they should bring to the arcade...the ps2 version was fun...lame presentation...but fun!
This one actually surprised me. I tried the demo out a few months ago and I'm like wow this is actually pretty good, but I never got around to buying it. Now all I have to do is find a friend with a 360 so I can go download it for free since my RROD-ed box is on its way to Texas :(

At the end of the game, you get 3 points for any completed city that is touching the "field" that your guy is in. Keep in mind that if another guy has more farmers in the same field as you, you won't get anything. Only the person(s) with the most farmers get the points.

you get followers for building castles, monasteries,etc. but in the beginning you are alloted 6. you must place them inside an area your building,roads monasteries, pasture to claim it as your own. when construction is finished you get points and more followers. Sometimes however, your opponent can share the points if they have a follower in the same area of construction
