Changing the *Blop* sound when you pop an achievement.

Would anybody else like to customize the achievement sound? it's the same sound when you get notifications too, which I find annoying.

I was thinking that MS should allow people to customize it to use sounds effects like an engine sound, gunshot, or something like a one word response.

Anyone else think it's a good idea or have any other ideas?

Either that(give more customization options) or at least allow to change the rest of the notifications sounds so they don't sound like achievements. I like the current sound effect and I wouldn't want to change it, but if I had the option I would change the other notification sounds. For instance when one of your 'favorite' friends comes online.

You might want to look into that feedback site for Xbox where they vote, maybe others already voting for something like this

@Alucard_Prime: Yeah I think i put this up on the official Xbox page about 18 months ago, or at least voted for one with the same idea, but nothing come of it.

It's funny because it's one of the few things that they have never changed.

@sdoxas: Almost 2 months and only 8 votes. I think the one I voted for had only about 100, so i'm guessing not many other people care about it unfortunately :(

@i_p_daily: I don't mind the sound I would like to change the amount of time the pop up stays on the screen that's shows when one of your friends logs on. Friggin covers the ui of many games for like 3-4 seconds

@oflow: I also remember certain 360 games would put the notifications on the part of the screen that was least used, like the corners of the screen, I never really noticed the length of time they stayed there though. I just want to change the notification sound as it's the same for everything. Imagine having a sound effect in your favourite game used as the achievement sound? I think it would be awesome.

@i_p_daily: yeah that would be cool. I say suggest it on the Xbox suggest site and get ppl on board. They implement stuff enough ppl vote on

@oflow: yeah I know what you mean, that's why I disabled the friends notifications completely. I've only enabled "favorites" notifications.....the notification only pops up when someone I've designated as a favorite logs in.

Would be a great idea to distinguish the certain notifications with sounds. Although I would imagine I would only annoy myself by uploading Arnold Schwarzenegger quotes in replacement.
