I've currently got a subscription to xbox live where they renew it every year and charge my card $50 every year.

I want to change it so that I can use the subscription cards instead.

What is the easiest way to do this??

Thanks

All you have to do is buy a year subscription card, and enter it at the "redeem code" option on the marketplace dashboard BEFORE your other subscription runs out. It'll just add the year from the card, to the end of your current subscription. Then just repeat every year with the cards.

True, but you still have to call MS to cancel the automatic renewal on your credit card. If you don't, they'll charge your credit card for another year, and then add the pre-paid card onto the end of that.

Really? I didn't. As long as you put the code from the card in before your subscription runs out, it changes the expiration date of your subscription. Your card doesnt get charged until the subscription runs out, which if you keep adding 1 year cards, will never run out. I've been doing it for years.
