Charlie Don't Surf......Is ridiculously hard!

I am trying to complete Call of Duty 4 on Veteran but am having real problems with the level 'Charlie Don't Surf' when you enter the TV station and there is a huge room full of electronic equipment. I have been trying and trying uisng different tactics each time and even when using the side office I keep on being killed by people shooting me through the windows!

Pleeease help me ,I think I'm going to go mad if I can't complete this and there are loads of people who've completed the game on Verteran easily.:evil:

That one wasnt that bad. Did a lot of sprint and diving for that one.

The helicopter one is a pain.

go into the room, and follow around the right hand side of the room. avoid a few grenades, and shoot about 5 guys until you get to the exit in the opposite corner to where you came in. Go in there, and hide around the corner, preferably with a shotgun, in case anyone comes to get you. give it a minute or so and your team will catch up. if you do it this way, its ridiculously easy.

I'll tell you how to do it. As soon as you enter the room start running to the room directly across from you going diagonal. It's the same room where the next objective is. On your way there(when you're getting close to the room), pop a flashbang in front of you and get into that room. You can then stay in that room while your men take out most of the enemies, and you won't have to worry about crossfire or getting shot from behind.white_sox

yeah this level is probably like the easiest in the game compared to the after All ghilled up on veteran! Its you and a guy with no leg against like 150 guys and all you have is a sniper...

I still have nightmares about ferris wheels...

Let some of your troops do some of the work and make your way across the room opposite. Stay in there a while and pick some people off and move round to the other entrance. When its clear move into the little room opposite. Watch out for grenades, throw them back and let your team mates do most of the work. Watch out, as the enemies respawn if you dont move upfenwickhotmail

Pretty much what I did with some variations. Remember to stay low and keep moving!

Well, this strategy will take awhile, but it worked: You have to walk into the big TV room for the enemies to start coming, after enemies start coming - run back into the room with all the internet servers. I would then get up against the back wall and go prone and shoot all enemies that ran thru the door.

I also found it funny to see all the new recruits respawning and running past my FOV - like I said, this strategy takes awhile, seeing as I started seeing the same names come up again, lol.

All ghilled up on vet was a joke. The end when youre waiting for the chopper just wait behind the L shaped wall in the alley north of the white picket fence and your boy will pick off everyone while all you do is sit back and make a sandwich. You wont get attacked at all.

I kept trying to go into that room in the side and something unexpected and random would always happen to end it for me. A guy would show up behind me, a grenade would blow up closer than I thought, etc.

My strategy was to take a right when you 1st enter and run all the way to the wall. There is a small room there and a desk. Hide behind the desk, pop a few shots at the guys that come out. Stay there and shoot until you feel comfortable to leave. Toss a flash and run into the hallway the enemies were coming out of. That stops the respawns and your guys can just mop up after that. Took me 2 times that way and countless in the small offices.

You think this level is hard? wait until you get to "one shot , one kill, and "no fighting in the war room". it is insanly difficult.

Try doing that on arcade, it's almost impossible on hardened (if you want to keep most of the extra lives you gained) but somehow I managed to bee in 90th place on the leaderboards.
