The Wireless network adapter is $100, and I don't feel like paying that much for it. And I can't use Ethernet cords because the location of my 360 is too far from my modem to work. Are there any other adapters that work for the 360 that are cheaper? Or are there any other alternatives?

go on ebay, and search for the origional xbox wireless adapter. it works for the 360 and is significantly cheaper than the 360 version. i think its only like 30-35 bucks.

I think only the official 360 adapter will work. I got mine on ebay ebay for about 42 dollars, I'd check there first.

no, the origional xbox wifi adapter works for the 360. but it does require it be plugged in to a power supply unlike the 360 adapter.

I my self almost grab 100 dollars for that adapter but if you have a wireless usb network adapter for your pc just hook up your 360 to your pc ethernet cable outlet go to my connection on the start menu or show all connection right click your wirless connection then go to statis after that click on properties then to advance there should be 2 boxes to be check (make this computer work with others share internet thingy ) check both boxes it does not matter if you have security on your router your 360 will run smoothly with your pc connected to one wirless connection..check it out..ohh and by the way you need to enable your ehternet port to connect to your wirless card or adapter peace..
