Cheaters?

Was watching a weekly gaming programme on the tv this morning and on it, they were discussing cheaters.

I'm just wondering if yourself have cheated at a game and also what you think of cheaters these days, either them people that have hacked into their consoles or just simply the good ol' method of button bashing into the game and getting stupid querks.

Interesting topic Paramore. I don't like cheaters at all, even if they were to be my friend i would tell them straight up that it's wrong and i dislike it. I don't get why people go through all that trouble and risk themselves getting banned just to be better at some point in a game. Wouldn't it better to actually do it on your own and because you have skill. (to the people that mod their xbox 360 to become better at a game). But yes i have never done anything like that, and i never will. As for the button mashing part in some fighting games, i may have :oops:.... :P

I've never cheated and I have'nt seen any for a long time,that Ive noticed anyway.I hear MW2 has a problem but I dont play that game.I remember Halo 2,that game had very memorable moments for cheating and im not talking just about the glitches but the mods,Ive never seen anything like it before or since.I dont understand the satisfaction they get out of fake victories.

I cheat all the time. It is so fun to get in a glitch spot and snipe them all. They have no idea where you are it is just amazing. Glitching is the reason im 10th prestige. Trust me, give it a try.

The problem is what is a cheater? I read many posts that is about people that believe that someone who does not play their way is cheating. I see cheating as the miss use of problems or weak points in the game like "spawn camping" but "camping" is not cheating.

I kind of cheated on MW2, not exactly purposely, I got invited into one of these "hacked lobbies"

it reset me and put all my stats to -40000000000000000

(some joker obviously thought it would be funny to reset a load of people)

long story short, I lost all my score but it gave me all titles and emblems :?:cry:

i really hate those hackers who hacked in mw2. damm it i am not able to play any online game from now. i really wanna swear right now i might get moderated lol

I don't even consider stuff like GTA cheating. The developers obviously put those codes in there so who cares?

But glitching games like MW2 is extremely frustrating to me. I just don't see the point. I also hated it in Borderlands when people had modded weapons. It takes the fun out of the game for everyone.

Used cheats in GTA when I was younger, but they aren't hacks or anything, but today i never cheat at all, never used a single cheat in gta iv or RDR, i don't use hacks, modded controllers or anything of the like.

Hackers are just killing the fun for everybody around them and themselves, rather egoist of them.

I only cheat in sandbox games once I have completed it or just gotten bored and want to mess around. I have never cheated in a multiplayer game and I never will. What is the point of that? I stopped playing MW2 because there is a new hack and I was tired of it. Although I loved hackers in TF2 they actually gave us new content something Valve would never do but they did get rid of hacking for some stupid reason.

Cant stand cheaters in video games they think they so good but its because they cheat. Without cheating they are a bum in the game. As for people cheating the system i dont care what you do to your system its yours go nuts wit it.

Don't really care about them, I mean I don't even know them it's not about hate or whatever just you don't feel good about yourself when you cheat.

Sure it will be a real achievement if you got like a perfect score or high gamerpoints or trophies you just won't know how the person feels if they really got it without cheating.
