Childs Account ---> Adult Account?

Is there a way to change it. I'm turning 18 January, and I heard rumor's that you can't change it at all. Is that true?

I also heard rumors that the Fall Update will fix this problem? If so, when's the fall update coming out?

ya i want to do that also cause i want a window live account but cant cause it says i hahve a child's account even though i am a child

I've heard that recovering your account works sometimes but not always, other than that no.ak1knight
