they said they didn't have enough time for halo 2. They admitted halo 2 singleplayer is lacking, and they are fixing or improving all that in halo 3. You won't be disapointed.
Since Halo 2 became the most played XBL game even after a few years of its release. But I can assure you, the SP campaign will probably be very, very good.

They said the singleplayer will look better graphical and thatthey do not want to say anything about the story. It has to be a big surprise. I heard the ending caused the actress who plays Cortana to cry so I guess Master Chief wil go out with a bang. The story will be amazing, plus there is going to be 4 player coop, if all goes as expected. But all other news on the storyline is kept very secret.

Well, seeing as how they havn't let us down yet, I have no reason to believe that Halo 3 would fail. Even if the ending is lame, which it probably won't be,the fight sequences will be very fun.

Why does everyone around here start a sentence with Christ or God? Bungie knows what they're doing. We can assume they are going to fix their mistakes because they've admitted to them. They know what makes a game fun, and they get very deep into it. I trust Bungie.

I hope you guys are right. Just gets me worried because when Halo 2 came out all that was really talked about was the single player game, heck! They even demonstrated the single player game! Just annoys me to see the multiplayer get all the publicity and not at least a teaser of the single player.

I would predict the sp will be great. The company has a good track record for the story imo and has done the games well so far. No reason to think otherwise imo. Some may be peeved at the ending of the 2nd but it should do a nice tie in for the 3rd and overall was a good game
Oh for the millionth time, it's not! It was just a BETA of a select portion of the MP to help them test their servers and fine tune the game. They aren't going to release anything from the SP until closer to launch.
And to people like Clan, Bungie has said that they aren't going to run out of time like they did for Halo 2. All information is pointing to a great SP experience, so be as skeptical as you want but keep it to yourself.

If we saw anything it would spoil someSP experience, it needs to be fresh and revolutionary.Besides you can't go wrong with 4 player coop.
You can want a single player campaign all you want but the fact of the matter is it became a cult classic when everybody was using system link and then getting to play halo2 online was a dream come true for alot of us system link fans. Thats where the popularity has always been and they tried to deliver on that with halo2. Halo3's single player is being hidden much like halo2's was. Have patience on the subject. Its almost here and im sure after how bad 2's was it will deliver this time around. ;)

so........how can you form an opinion about single player when nothings is released yet. Its like saying gears 2 is gonna suck. There no info on that. Im not saying its gonna be great or bad im saying wait to 9/25 to fully judge the single player.
Halo single player has always sucked. Bungie usually spends a lot of time on the first few stages and makes them great and then the rest of the games are cookie cutter. Ever notice that? Halo 1 campaign is great up throught the beach level then for the rest of the game you can tell the level design takes a sharp drop in quality. In Halo 2 the first stage through the part where you follow the giant mech and blow it up with the rocket launcher is great and then the level design drops off again. I'm hoping Bungie spends more time making a quality single player experience from start to finish with Halo 3.
I personally enjoyed the SPover the MP in Halo 2. The under-aged community is what drives a lot of people away from Halo and it's MP ( That can be said about any game online). So when I first heard about the 4 player co-op (online).. I remembered the good ole days... When we hooked up 3 Xbox's in seperate roomsat my friends house and had at it.. Now that those days are long gone.. I'm looking forward to the SP game.
Ihonestly haven't seen anything I like yetin Halo 3.. Hopefully they do show someSP gameplay in the near future...... because I don't want to waste another 60+ dollars on a game I cannot stand to play (Gears of War).

I better not be dissapointed with the halo 3 campaign.
i think they have forgot that halo became so popular because of the storyline and the gameplay. the first halo didnt had such a great multiplayer and no xbox live. so what made it be so popular was the single player.. i dont know but i think everyone is more excited about the single player of halo 3 than the multiplayer and im one of them.. because i want to see how it ends and how the graphics have evolve. I HOPE THEY SHOW SINGLE PLAYER CINEMATICS ON E3!!!

Because they're smart. What do you expect to do it you if you completed the campaign a million times? Surely you will get bored of it since you've seen everything the campaign has to offer. The multiplayer is a different story, there's always addon's to be downloaded on the Xbox Live Marketplace and each match has different results as we all know that. Achievements for the multiplayer is always challenging and the campaign achievements is for offline-relax play.
