i mean come on the game doesn't come out until july 8! and they give a taste of the dam thing that really doesn't even equal a sample at Sams Club. I mean if it let me play that dam thing until one level finishes it would hold me over until it comes out. Its like when it just starts going and every thing starts getting interesting it just stops. UUHHGGG that pisses me off. That game is going to be like crack. I wished i didn't know about it untill it came out. I'm looking forward to this game more than any other.

well it doesnt even seem like a demo. For example, when Command and Conquers came it it gave us an entire level with out a time limit to play. Even on the mulitplayer of the game of Civilization you can't finish a full game, which really pisses me off

I mean dam, if they would let me enjoy it a little longer it makes no difference i'm buying it any dam way. I think if they let a little more time to play it would attracted even more interest from other gamers. It doesn't even indicate how deep the game can really be
With Civ, you wouldn't be satisfied unless you could play a whole game. You always want just one more turn until you're done, then you start again. It really is like crack. Unfortunately, this means that no demo will ever satisfy you, if it did they would just have given you the whole game. Clearly not a good marketing strategy.
The game is seriously like crack. I think it will be very successful. I played the demo like 14 times, even though I knew it would end and I was just wasting my time. I just couldn't stop playing. I had fun just researching different things to see what comes next.
ok yes the game was also like crack to me! i went to gamespot and didnt really see it on the front page and i was like this isnt possible the game is so awesome and original for a console and so i came to the forums and SHAZAM!!!
only thing i was concerned about was 4-5 player multiplayer and how it would work if there were stupid peeps but i think only smart people are going to buy this where as dum 5 year olds will go for the 1390480309th fps laggy battlefeild bc
the point of releasing demos (from a publisher/devs pov) is getting people hooked enough to buy the full game. which it seems they have succeeded in doing in this case.
i appreciate you say you would still buy the game even if you could play a whole level, but undoubtedly a lot of people would just keep playing that level and not bother with the full purchase.
hmmm...i should look into downloading the demo. I loved the PC versions and my bro has been hooked on the demo so far. I guess I'll give it a shot if it's compared to crack :P
I've never played any of the Civilizations games before but I do play alot of the same type of games (Total War Etc...).Is this game worth getting?
Also before anyone says "download the demo and find out" I don't have XBL yet but I'll be getting it soon.

I would say wait untill you get Xbox Live then give it a try. Everyone has different opinions on games. I would recommend it but then again I dont know what kind of games you like. Then again you never know if youll like it or not until you try it.
If they let you play an entire game and the only limitations being only being able to use Rome and Egypt, then you pretty much have the full game. Why does europe get their game first????:(
When is it out? Next month? It's not like you're having to wait a year to get the game. Find something else to do til its released. I'm glad to hear it's good. I was worried about the 360 getting another flop like title.
