both are good and deserve the scores they got. both of them are not over or underrated.

sry but cod4 is not the greatest game of all and not even the best fps of all time. It is a great game but not a masterpiece and alot of people are getting the two mixed up with this game the original cod was really the best for its time. The idea of shooting thru the walls is not new by the way and every shooter could have that but not all want that, and counter strike/battlefield is better modern warfare game.

its not a matter of being able to, its the fact that COD4 did it and did it perfectly. look at 2k baseketball. thay gave each shooter there real shooting motion, thats like saying NBA live could have done this but didnt.cLAssic_BLUE

Wait i thought in red faction 2 you could shoot holes in walls? Oh wait yeah so it wasn't the first to do it. Also in COD4 can you create a hiding spot deep underground with multiple entrances?

I never said it was the greatest i compared shooting through walls to more destructable environments. It's not the greatest game of all time it's a great game but not of all time. COD 4 didn't bring anything new to the table great graphics,great gameplay,and many great feautures but those have been in many previous games before it. It's a matter of opinion of which game revolutionized fps in my opinion it's the original doom that did. Many people will say different games revolutionized different aspects of it because it's true. There's just nothing that i can see about COD4 that's different from previous FPS.

I just finished the flaming thread about if COD 4 is overrated. how this game is just like other cod games, and wasnt very innovative. WTF, what other game lets u customize weapons and the greatest thing IMO ever made, u can shoot threw walls. how can nobody mention that. that adds an element to the game which is unherd of. im just saying not everybody is going to like this game but give credit where its dew. there has been many games that have allowed you to customize and shoot through walls and thats the only thing you can point out that makes it the best FPS ever?
