CoD 4, Halo 3, or HL2: Orange?

I'm Poor. Pick one.

Right now I'm leaning toward HL as I have never played HL2 and it seems like it has the most game in the game, if that makes any sense.

all are going to have a lot of content online and offline. no way i could pick just one myself. depends on what you like, war sim vs sci fi sim vs cartoonish sim.

if i HAD to pick 1 - i'd say halo3.

Meh, COD4 is fun and all (Beta impressions)but not in the same class as the other two games. It does look like there will be a strong following for COD4 so that could turn the tide a little. I'd personally go with Halo 3, folllowed by Half Life 2. I'm only saying Halo 3 because it will be one of the most played games on LIVE, and when you feel like playing some Multiplayer you want a popular game. The campaign looks good too, co-op FTW!

If you want a game that's gonna be awesome for shooting the crap out of people, get CoD4...

If you want a game that's gonna have alot of replay, you're gonna be online with it, doing co-op with friends, get Halo 3...

If you want THE GAME, a classic, some of the greatest gameplay, a great story that will stand the test of time..
