CoD 4, not worth it?

Probably not, considering the single player is supposedly only 5-8 hours long.goallie

I'm a HALO gamer and have been since Nov. 15th, 2001 so naturally i'm going to tell you to get H3. I liked CoD2 a lot. Enough to the point where I played it everyday for 3 hours minimum for a whole year. Now CoD4, I just feel that the BETA was actually better than the retail game. At first it is so stupid because most people Wh0re out MG42's or MP5's. A lot of weapon wh0ring, even more than HALO. Spawn raping. It's just ridiculous yet the game is still fun. Not better than H3, but i'd say if you have the money then go for it.MJ0LNIR_SPARTAN

I like Halo, but I am getting it after Christmas, on Boxing day I think, Maybe a bit earlier, is it really better than CoD 4?

I'm playing on Veteran difficulty and some of the battles are intense. Like I only played about three hours and I'm not even through the 1st act yet.

whoever thinks COD4 is hort on sp played it on easy or normal. cause i know for a fatc you didnt breeze through veteren. the developers didnt breeze through veteren. it only took me two days to beat it on veteren but thats because i did nothing other than play it nonstop till like 3 in the morning everyday after i got outta class. it's intense and frustrating but totally worth it. that kind of ridiculous difficulty adds this sick twisted feeling of accomplishment when you do get through the firefights,.

so yes, my vote is it it completely worht it even without online

After you beat the games sp you get a mode where you can rank up points/combos with every kill in sp. I think youll get alot of play time in it. Do you have Hdtv if so it will be one of the best looking and runing (60fps) game out on the 360. Its worth it but If you like long sp game wait for Mass Effect

bash away but cod2 is better than cod4! cod4 you basically just run and gun...or you camp and shoot the people as they run down the street...you hit them one time or get hit one time..you die......all the people online either camp in a building the whole game or its just a stupid chaos game with everyone running around shooting at everything that moves....and they copied the running off of gears of war...basically you can sprint like sonic the hedghog.....jmhoSpinbrett

If it had trucks and choppers it would be alot better online.... Alot of ppl said that. If you don't like the art or look of halo 3 then cod 4 will be the best online shooter out there

It is worth is. While playing COD 4, it has a feel of playing in a blockbuster movie. It's really intense.. Don't let everyone confuse you. The game is 4 - 5 hours if you play on normal which my 16 month old can accomplish. If you want your experience to be longer, bump up the difficulty to Veteran and I'm pretty sure you will not be finished in 5 hours. It may add another 5 hours in length because you will die a good million times. frustrating, but rewarding when beaten.shaunchgo

Even Hardened adds auite a bit of time to the experience. I musta tried the fight near the ferris wheel 20 times. A fun 20 times it was though.

BTW, this game must suck for people scared of dogs..... That's all I'm saying, lol

The single player is great and the only way your gonna get a challenge would be to play it on hardened or veteran.

But then again hardened is kind of easy for me
