I don't have enough money for both, so which one should I get on launch? I have enough money for two games before Xmas, and I'm getting one of these and Mass Effect.

I played Call of Duty 2 when it first came out and wasn't really impressed. I haven't played a Call of Duty game si nce and haven't been following Call of Duty 4 a lot. I've heard a lot of great things about it though, so I definetly want it now.

Assassins Creed seems really fun, but I have my doubts about it. I'm not too sure about the combat and length.

Which one should I get on launch? Thanks!

Get a job a and buy both.

If you can't afford to buy both, then you need to seriously ask yourself why because $120 is not a lot of money.

120$ is a lot of money actually...(especially if your in college or high school)

And I would wait and see which game gets a higher rating. Also, it depends on your preference, I mean they are two completely different games.

I guess it's how you prioritize your life.

Maybe if you give up smoking weed, and/or smoking cigarettes then you could afford some violent videogames. ;)

Get CoD4 first, then trade in the game when AC comes out a week later, then you save some money or next time save up some money, its not like its a surprise that these games are coming out here in Nov. Or is it ;)??? I have know this for at least 6 months now.

Start to save up for GTA IV now:idea:.

If your looking for a good Multiplayer game get CoD4. If you want a possibly strong singleplayer game get Assassins Creed. Then again your getting Mass Effect that is a strong singleplayer game... hmmm...

I'm getting both, but if Assassins Creed fails I'll drop that. Currently I have Mass Effect and CoD4 CE fully paid off.

Neither of these are out yet, so there is not telling whether they will be good or not. I do agree though that both will probably be worth a buy. I think AC has more of a chance of being mediocre, plus if your gonna buy Mass Effect, you should go for COD4 so you have a multiplayer and a single player game, rather than just two single players.

Given that you're set on Mass Effect which is a huge single player game, you should go with Call of Duty 4, assuming of course you enjoy playing online.

When gaming on a budget, the most important thing is balancing your library. If you enjoy single and multiplayer games then you should get Mass Effect and Call of Duty. If you are a single player minded gamer, then go with Assassins creed.

Assassins Creed because, to me, its new and unique where as CoD4, while great, is just another shooter.

Assassin's Creed is a single player game so you can get that anytime. Get COD4 first so you'll have a good community online and not get pwned by people who've been playing for months

you would probably have more fun with AC, BUT COD4 has a really good multiplayer
