the stupid ferris wheel..i beat the whole freakin part of it easy..its just when i have to get the injured guy...as i go over there..i see no bad guys what so ever...right when i pick him up...20 guys appear and shoot me...wtf................i am litterally ready to break my f***** controller.... i dont get a single checkpoint from when i start layin the claymore down either..all my friends that have played it get like 4 check points...3 when they are behind the bumper cars and then 1 right when the helecopter comes..i think its retarded... i just want to get that stupid achievement
In order to get a checkpoint you have to kill every enemy in the area you are in. Throw C4s on the cars then when your going to pick the guy up blow up all the cars and it will wipe out all enemys near by, if timed right then the next bunch that come will get killed by your team mates.
iv done that..my friend told me how to do it easy..but it doesnt work..the thing is...once i got and pick up the guy..there are odds and end guys so i drop the guy for 10 seconds..kill them..and then as i get 10 feet from the helecopter..it leaves.....
theres a video on youtube teaching you how to do it, i saw it and he just sat there and did nothing until the chopper comes, he blows up all the cars, picks up the guy and gets shot just a few hits, not too deadly then goes for the chopper
JUST before the enemy choppers come (right after a checkpoint) sprint all the way to the other side of the map, past the pool, and go in the little alleyway behind it. Going here will cause a major flaw in the level and the enemies that spawn run around the corner across the field where you can just pick them off. Slowly but surely pick off the guys from the chopper too, minimizing your chance of death when grabbing the captian and running to the your heli. Only thing that will catch you off guard are 2 dogs (sometimes 1, sometimes 3..), but they run straight at you giving you time to shoot and kill them. When the chopper is about 1500 away, run back to the captian, the heli will land just as you get there.
There's still loads of guys if it's on veteran, but there a little less and a LOT less sides to cover. Giving less chances of people shooting you in the side.
thats kerrman..ill give that a shot..the thing is....when i get to the point with the choppers im just worried i wont make it to the other side..... and if i do this..will it make it easier to pick up the captain and take him back? (is there a video on this method instead of the bumper car method..)
Have you tried laying a defensive perimeter all around (in front and on both sides) ofthe bumper car ride? Do that and then just stay all the way behind the ride. You'll have a boat load of protection with the railing to hide behind and just as cover. The only side you have to defend is the left (if you are behind the ride and looking straight at it). Do that until your chopper arrives. Wait a little bit after it lands and then pick of the couple guys left on the ferris wheel as you haul it to your wombed buddy. After you pick him up, you guys in the chopper will cover you from the rest (also, no guys will be left to worry about on the ferris wheel. I beat vet this way pretty easy. Wait until you get to "no fighting in the war room". You think you want to break your controller now - just wait.
