I wouldn't say they are to different to compare but I know what you mean kinda. I would say COD4 is better, it just seems more intense to me and has more depth.

But they are both good.

What I meant by that is the pacing and overall experience are very different. I perfer COD4 because it is intense and more focused but some perfer Halo3s pacing and vehicle combat better.

They are both great, but I think Halo 3 is a more fun experience. COD4 can get very repetitive.

As much as i support the halo franchise, i love call of duty 4. I hated call of duty 3, but 4 is leaps and bounds better. I did not have the same experience with halo 3 as i did with halo 2.

in my opinion this is easy. if you want real life simulation then get CoD4 if you want an arcady style go for halo 3 and they both have great multiplayers and both have short but intense single player modes.

i've been playing Call of Duty since the first one and its expansion pack United Offensive.. And I say that Halo 3 rly hits home compared to COD4

In my opinion, CoD4 pisses all over Halo 3.

CoD4 portrays WAR...it's campaign is a brutal, visceral, roller coaster ride. The game also has unique online multiplayer features.

I have not played the 360 version of CoD4, but I do own the PS3 version and I am wildly impressed by this game.

Halo 3 on the other hand...well...I'm playing it now and it just feels so archaic and slow compared to Call of Duty. I never played a CoD game until 4 came out. Now I wonder if I've been living under a rock for a bunch of years. WWII shooters never really interested me...

How seriously are you going to take a FPS with purple weapons? My point exactly...

BioShock on the other hand...is AMAZING.

Call of Duty 4 as the best singleplayer and multiplayer experience out of the two games.

I've haven't played COD4, but it looks like the sp has a stronger story and that the mp is deeper too.

Halo 3 was fun, but I prefer COD4. It has a better SP for me, and the MP has a lot more to offer in terms of what you can do, Prestige Mode, a great weapon selection. It doesn't need vehicle action to faceoff with Halo 3, and it's the most intense thing I've played for a while when it's 1 on 1 or playing in Search and Destroy.

I prefer the slower, more methodical and strategic pace of COD4. That said, if I wanna just run and gun for a while, Halo is the better choice.

They are both great games, but I enjoy COD4 the most. I've only played Halo 3 once, since the release of COD4.
