COD: Black Ops : Prestige?

So, there are 14 prestiges confirmed for Black Ops.

Mw2 : 10 prestiges x 70 Levels = 700

BO : 14 Prestiges x 50 Levels = 700

Knowing that gold camo and probably alot of other cool stuff will be unlocked in the later prestiges (ie. Custom Slots, camos, more emblem editor layer ...) Are you guys going to prestige and keep on prestiging, or are you going to max out your first go at level 50? Keep in mind that I think you lose all your COD currency, and will probably be called a hacker regardless if you did or didn't legitimately get to 14th prestige.

good question, I am absolutely torn. I may have to stick around in this thread and see some others opinions.

Loads of people said they weren't going to prestige in MW2, but I was the only one who held back and I ended up just going for it. I loved gold guns in COD4(only prestiged once), I got the uzi, druganov(personal fave) and the AK. I Think as cod progresses, the advantage gained by prestige increases. and with the extra custom slots. This can actually give you an in-game advantage over players without it. But its a tough one

I've played a little bit of CoD4 and to be honest I thought you could only Prestigeonce. Thought the same way for MW2 lobbies. My only question is--Why-- would you prestige? I see no advantage to it, as it doesn't effect game play in any way.

I dont knowwhether I'll prestige or not in Black Ops. I didn't in MW2 because I hated that game, I went to 3rd prestige in COD4, so I'll just wait and see. Even though I prestiged in COD4 I dont see the point in prestigeeither becuase loosing all the weapons that you've worked hard to get...I dont know, I can understand boredom though ha.

I'm gonna try to get all the way to 14, leveling up is addicting, even if you have already done it 13 times.

im pretty sure prestige 14 was just speculation or rumoured. But it sounds reasonable they both have 700 levels to get through, anyway if it in fact is 14 then yes i will be prestiging to the 14th, mostly because i like the challenege of having to start from scratch again
