COD MOD 2 after maps released

ever since the new maps have been released and they sent out that update, i've been getting crappy connections to games. before the update/new maps were released, i didn't have this problem, i could always connect to a game with >50ms ping, now it goes up to >125ms ping before it connects to anything. what is it about that update that's making me get crappy connections?

My friends and I have noticed this as well. We have quit playing recently because we rarely get a decent game anymore: either we dominate, because of server advantage, or we get dominated because of horrible lag. Maybe it's a volume issue since the new maps came out?

This is happening to me too. What Infinity Ward are doing are making you search for the best possible games through matchmaking rather than shoving you into the first game they find. When it starts off with 50 ping it basically means it is finding the best possible game for you that is why it goes up in 5's or 10's. Have you been playing a lot of 3 bar games lately? This is what happened to me as I am Australian and used to have a lot of of one bar (red) games before the recent patch where they rectified that. It may take longer to search but it should find the best game for you.

The only problem I have with the new maps are hosts quits.

My boyfriend has been having a lot of trouble connecting to games too since the map pack, he can only connect to a game if he is with his friends or his clan, not on his connection, or joining a recently played players game. Its really stupid, they should be doing something about it if everyone is having trouble, maybe when the stimulus option goes it will get better?
