wow i just started this game on veteran and its unbelievebly hard for just being the first level. I thought cod4s campaign on veteran was tough but this game just blows it away in difficulty. What do you guys think?
That sniper one on one part when you start playing as the private for the Red Army was insanely impossible on Hardened. I cant imagine it for Veteren. chester706

I spent one hour and barely got him with 2 wounding shots. The dude scopes up way too fast its not even realistic. Plus his bullets go right through the walls like butter and no matter where you hide he somehow knows where you are at all times. One time I hid behind the stairs on the lower level and I saw a fraction of a bullet some flying through the window. I was like wow WTF! I woke up my dad yelling at my monitor lol. When I finally beat him I was going crazy.

well im playing solo veteran because you can only get the achievements doing that.

The part where you go through the trenches and there's one room with a whole bunch of japanese with type 99's, that was the hardest part in the game. Took me like 2 hours. It was so aggravating. Other then that, wasn't too bad. Sniper battle was tough though.

The Vendetta level (Sniper) is the easiest on veteran, you guys just move in the room and try to find a cover. What you have to do is , after moving up the stairs, going directly forward and crouching next to the window and just giving it a crosswise angle between u and the Nazi sniper, then you just wait for him to come out and boom. I just did it after 3-4 trials. The problem is Cod Waw is the toughest game i've ever played on veteran. Russian levels are a little easy on veteran but the Japanese levels are annoying and like it says " You will not survive " You are exposed to a grenade rain and you try to run and banzai's come and shoot you in the head no matter if they are running or standing still, you just lift ur head a lil and boom ur down. I've spent more than 1 hour on each Japanese veteran levels just to get veteran thropies and i've been cursing Treyarch for making this veteran difficulty almost impossible. Just got stucked on "Blowtorch and Corkscrew", 3 more to go and I don't even want to think what i'm gonna do in the Downfall level :( Btw I already finished the game on Hardened difficulty...And now made it a matter of honor to finish this annoying game. Btw Cod 4 modern warfare's multiplayer is better... And yea i write it on Xbox 360 forum, cos i haven't found any guys discussing its Veteran difficulty level on PS3 side.

Its driving me nuts. I'm almost through the entire game, just three or so levels left. But I had to take a break or I'd go insane from dying over and over lol.

I just finished all the levels of Solo on Veteran difficulty.The worst AI I've ever seen in a game, but only the Allied not the Axis. Axis guys can shoot you through the smoke, through the wall, behind the boxes, they can nail you from almost anywhere and they rain greanades to get your head up so they can blow your brains. And at the same time, Allied guys who are supposed to help you just watch and enjoy your death. They don't even shoot the enemy right in front of their faces. They just stand there like stupid rabbits... Anyways its all gone now .Thanks GOD!

Yeah that bit is ridiculously hard, I hit the guy 3 times before I actually killed him. All I can say is be patient and get in a spot near the window where you can only see and be seen from one window, and wher you can quckly move back out of site.

That part was horrible. I did it on veteran and I nearly broke some things in my room. You can't imagine how glad I was when I saw I made it:P

I felt that the Russian levels were the hardest.
I found the *** levels insane hard. the last couple ones are so fustrating. Took me forever to complete them.
