i luved 1-3 didn't like four though to be honest though i think its cause i expected something different and it was to much like the old cod mixed with graw. also i thought the old cod games were a bit more tactical here you literally have to run and shoot wherever you go there is no cover what so ever and the ai is really bad in my opinion.
i guess im being a bit hard on cod4 it plays exactly like the other cod games but its supposed to be set in the present with modern warfare so i was expecting something different to reflect that and not the same old same old. i think they needed to change more then the time to many recycled cod models and maps for my taste felt like i played it before.
glad everyone else enjoys it personally its my least favorite. i think it was just all the hype that killed the game for me it was one of my most anticipated games of the year, maybe thats why im so hard on it.
Cod 1/2 were great games, CoD3 was lame, I rented it and didnt like it. it didnt really feel like a CoD game( i have played Cod 1 and 2 A LOT AND I MEAN A LOT) and it is due to another company making CoD3, CoD4 was made by the same company that made 1 and 2 so it feels more like those games
yes i know i babbled a lot but it sums up what happened
Never played 1.
CoD2 was awesome. Played it for 2-3 months online. Only got 500/1000 GS on it. I could've gotten the full 1000, but I'm an idiot for selling it before hand.
CoD3 was so so. Campaign sucked because Veteran was just stupid and not really fair. The multiplayer was a pretty fun multiplayer actually. I like how they sparked the idea for having classes in the online. Completely changed everything.
CoD4 is just awesome. Both Multi and Single Player.
I'm still going out to buy CoD2 again. I am pissed that I didn't finish and get all the GS points. That and I want it in my 360 CoD collection.
