Seriously, you join a room, have to sit and wait FOREVER and you dont even know if youre playing Team Battle or Battle (if you pick this) until you have to quit and start over and try it again. Its ridiculous. I only wanted to play ranked to get some of the achievements (mainly Doc for the Medic) but Player Matches are just so much better and easier. Screw that system and screw the multiplayer achievements.
Yeah and one time after waiting forever the room actually had 24 people in it. Yet half the 'tards would not ready up and only a few people were talking. It got as low as needing 3 more people to ready up for no one ever did. It was the dumbest thing Ive ever seen.
Yeah I've actually made many, many posts about this. I'm in 100% agreement with this thread. However, I find the lack of customization (i.e. the only thing you can do is select the game mode), and the fact that you cannot choose the map you want to play worse than having to wait (usually its only a few minutes). What you also forgot to mention though is that ranked matches rarely get near 24 players, because as soon as there are enough to start (8 players) it begins, with only a few seconds remaining to get more players in.
