Hey everyone, this has probably been one of the best missions ive ever played, but i am absolutely stuck at the part where everyone comes running at u! i was wondering ifanyone has a strategy that can get me thru this (im on Hardend difficulty) ive heard that u can hide in a bush & than run for it, but everytime i try i get clapped or one of those mutts tears my face off....anybody wanna help

My friend and I have a pretty decent strategy(btw, this is also one of my fav missions, even though its a bit hard) Put claymores all around the ferris wheel, but not too close to each other or one will set off the other. and don't put them too close to the ferris wheel or it defeats the purpose, then go prone on the ferris wheel and snipe. Make sure you spot people trying to flank or surround you and pick them off. Mostly, just focus on those who can immediately do harm to you. Good luck, hope that helps.

If you stand on the ferris wheel base looking toward the area where they emerge, I bunked down to the far right, beyond the picket fence and against the wall but before the radiated area. They had only one bottlenecked area to go thru and you're far enough where their grenades can't get you.

hmmm im noticing a trend with the ferris wheel, is that the key? alright kewl ill give those a try when i go on later, anyone else?

what i did was sit behind the guy until help arrived! i couldnt beat that mission by just shooting at people

lol, very brave of you. But yea, in my experience(beat that mission on Hardened, attempting to beat it on Veteran), the ferris wheel is the way to go. Good luck

i just put claymores on cars and around the ferris wheel cause they will attack you from the right, but also you can snipe the guys as they are going down the ropes from the helicopters :D i killed so many that way...

it's hard to hit them that way...I've only got one guy like that. :P

I beat it on hardcore by hiding in the ticket booth in front of the wounded captain guy. I stayed in there till the helicopter shows up where I sprinted over to the captain andcarried him in. BTW I've been trying to do this on theveterandifficulty but its not working.

I beat it on Veteran (after so many tries) when hiding around near the dodgems. I took out guys that came round the corner. Placing C4 around the area and then letting it off when it comes to picking up MacMillian helped me a lot.

I have beat it on Veteran, I think it was luck though as I don't have a real strategy. I am currently syuck on the level where U have to make it up a hill & then go all the way back down to the extraction point. Having a fit trying to get back down.

I put claymores by the entrances, few more by the cars, then stayed by the ferris wheel. Towards the end, moved back to the grass area where thewounded sniper.

stay behind the ferris wheel and snipe until macmillian yells about enemy choppers. then run down the left alley across from the ferris wheel and hide until the chopper lands. throw c4 around the picket fence as you go by. youll have time. before you run to the chopper, blow them and itll clear a few of them out. just stop and shoot, just run around the heli to get macmillan and carry him to the chopper.

i put up the claymores, then once they overan my sniping position(faris wheel) then i ran back and picked them off with the pistol and eventualy got a machine gun. then i just shot around till the helo arived.

i am stuck on veteran mode..but one of my friends said there is a place to the right when u enter the area..(there is an intel there also)..that if u stay there..u can snipe and they cant flank you..and then once the helecopter is landing sprint to the guy. I havent tried this but i guess thats how he did it on his first try...who knows.

There is a way by going to where the intel location is. I tried it but it doesn't always work. Sometimes they will go down that area and I found they always threw grenades for me.

really..hmm..i havent tried it yet. the only way i tried on veteran is behind the bumper cars but i seem to die when i try to get the wounded sniper... i am debating on tryin this..but i have given on up veteran..to many times of me about breaking the countroller

I play on harden too... I die a lot at the ferris wheel and thought wtf was I think to play this game on harden in the first place... then I thought about all the other hard parts of all the other FPS I ever played and said this is just like any other.

And this is what I did and I just got pass that level yesterday night. Plant your comrade and then take up position to the right of him by the tree. Use that tree to cover yourself. If you start to receive heavy fire from all direction, go down on the belly position. Try not to use the **** grenades that often cause the enemy will just throw it back at you. But it is ok to throw the flash grenade once in awhile. Don't use it all up. I think there is 2 waves. The 1st being that your comrade will tell you to wait and wait and then open fire. The 2nd wave starts when the 4 helicopters carrying reforcement come back and enemy start sliding down the ropes.

So before the 1st wave started, PLant your comrade where he says to put him. THen run over to the right and drop a few landmines by the ferris wheel. And also drop 1 on the top of the platform of the ferris wheel. The enemy will using charge up to the ferris wheel and around it. Drop a couple and save the rest for the landmines for the 2nd wave. Take up position behind the tree like I said. Go on the knee position and your comrade will tell you to wait till they come closer and closer. When he says open fire. You fire and try to get as many as possible. The enemy will usually try to run up to the cars or cement block and take position there. They always use those same position so you will recognize it and point your gun there. Try to get as many of them as possible with your sniper rifle. If you take too much fire, then duck and go to the belly position. And back up slow behind the tree trunk to save yourself. Don't worry about your comrade. He is practically invincible but not you. Some of the enemy would have rushed up to the ferris wheel platform and some around the back of the platform to your right. Time to activate those landmines you planted. BOOM!, Try to get to the knee position if you can and see if more enemy is coming. If you can't that is ok. You can use the flash but dont use it all up. The 2nd wave is more enemies. Use a few frags but becareful cause they usually throw it back. If you are under heavy fire still.. stay on the belly and listen. They could be dogs coming, pull out the pistol and pray you get them. IF you are in the belly position, move the handgun from left to right and back. YOu probably can't see anything under that grass. Don't worry. Look at the cross hair. If it turns red, the enemy is right there. Aim and squeeze the trigger. The other thing you have toworry a lot about is the dogs and enemies rush up to you (like 1-2 ft) and shooting.... The closer they are the most dangerous. There is like 1-3 sniper who like to go in the belly position behind the ferris wheel. Watch for them cause they don't charge and will sometimes throw frags at you. YOu may sometimes find yourself getting up and charging them with a pistol or sniping them while standing. Remeber, your comrade cannot snipe them for you cause it is beyond his view. The ferris wheel is blocking him but your comrade will get a lot of other enemies for you.

Before the 1st of 4 helicopters come, Rush and kill the few around the ferris wheel. Don't go too far. Drop the rest of your landmines around the ferris wheel again. Make sure to drop 1 of them on the ferris wheel platform. The enemy always take up a position there. And REMEMBER, swap out your pistol for an AK47 or one of the other SMG. Make sure you pick up one with lots of ammo. Drop the landmines and swap out the pistol for a real gun. Then quickly run back behind the tree. As the troops slide down the 1st helicopter on the left. Try to snipe a few of them. Don't worry if you don't get all of them. You are just buying some time, not out to kill all. Then quickly turn to the middle and snipe a few under the cement block. And then quick turn a little over to the right and snipe a few behind the car. You will see a lot, so who do you snipe? Well, look for the enemy will the brightiest flashes. They are probably carry LMG. Take those guys out first. They are the one that is shooting you the most. You only got 5-20sec to snipe them on the knee position. If any time you start to receive heavy fire, go to the belly position and hide back behind the tree, pull out the AK47. And slide it left to right and look at the crosshair. When it turns red, AIM and shoot. Don't worry about not see under all that grass, you will get them. Listen for the dog again and try to shoot. Don't worry about ammo, just use it in the 2nd wave. Once or twice, and enemy will try to rush up to you and kill you. Watch out for them too. Use the flash. That will slow them down. They alway rush up the ferris wheel and around it. So that is the side you have to guard more.

When your guys come and land a helicopter in the middle, They will tell you to go grab your comrade. Try to get up and get him. Carry him and use the trail behind the ferris wheel which you were guarding before. Drop him down if necessary and then open fire on any incoming enemies. Your helicopter that land will have some comrade come out to protect you. They will be in the knee position by the back of the helicopter. I belive they give you like 30sec. So quickly pick up your comrade again and now rush up to the helicopter and into the entrance. You will then automaticly put him down on the seat and you enjoy the ride.

EDIT: For the 1st way, I use up all the landmines. On the 2nd wave, you use up all the C4.

Also before you get to the end of this level, try to swap out pistol for a SMG or AK47. You may have to restart the level to do this.
