COD4 Bonus level on Veteran *spoilers*

I'm just wondering if anyone has beat the plane level on veteran? I think it's impossible, I beat the whole game in Veteran and this is the only time I actually think it's impossible. How did you guys do it?

I wont call COD the easiest game to beat. Halo3 is.

Im still stuck on the sniper level on veteran. so I have yetto try the bonus level. Tbh, I gave up lol Im not enjoying the game on veteran.

agreed. the game is unnecessarily frustating at times. i'm currently on the "No fighting in the War Room" level and I've spent more than an hour on it without finishing it. and it's only supposed to last around 15 minutes! the checkpoint system needs to be changed for call of duty 5.

Yeah on veteran it's ultra hard. Which it's supposed to be though on that level of difficulty, luck got me through all of the levels. Try it enough times you'll get lucky at all the right spots at once .... :P

You should have seen the crap I tried to win. I was going prone at random places and hoping the nades wouldn't hit me then popping up and throwing nades back. This is one of those games though where I wish I had a nerf controller, I was ready to throw it into my TV.

The only problem with this last level is [spoiler] that there's a time limit of 60 seconds ... in the regular difficulty there's 3 minutes!! Also since it's veteran you die in two hits. This level is actually impossible, no matter how you cut it [/spoiler]

thats a crazy limit!

and yeah tried that also phroning at random places. the enemy seem to have x-ray vision or something. they always see me in a matter of seconds.

like I said Im not enjoying it.

Ive beaten Ninja gaiden on Master ninja which is worth a 1000point achievement alone. but that was a whole different story. I enjoyed that, even if its hard as hell.

I might give it another try tho. I want those veteran achievements.:P

It is a lot of trial and error... You have to fight you way forward and find the best way to do each plane section... Unfortuantely, every time you die, you have to fight your way BACK to where you died and try something new...

Took me DOZENS of tries, but once I got it, I can do it pretty easily repeatably now...

I beat the mile high level on veteran. It took me like 2 hours to finally pull it off.

Search youtube.com for the final level on veteran. There are videos of people finishing it in 40 seconds. It's crazy. It's definitely possible, but very difficult. You have to just run through the plane. Check the video on youtube to see exactly how it's done.
