COD4 Fans: Beware Best Buy Pre-order

So I preordered cod4 from BB last night, says it's available for in store pick up "on relese date" which we all know is Nov 5th. So I am browsing my order status this morn and realize they have it's availability as Nov 6th. Same as on their website. Might seem like no big deal to most, but for us with clans already, counting the minutes, its a big deal. Who would get kicked out of their clan for getting the game 24 hours late? Anyway, you've been warned.

You may be right to offer a warning. however, the release dated listed on video games sites is typically the shipping date, not the in store date. So, it is likely that the game will be shipped on Nov5th but only stores near the distributor will sell them that day. But once again, i could be wrong in this specific case.callen3

I just found this out, you are right and im a dip**** I actually cancelled my order and now I have to wait for them to credit my cc back and re-order.:oops:

You can't do that everywhere, especially if you live in a highly-populated urban area. Pre-ordering games is practically a necessity in some areas.

same here. ive never seen a game not in stock in walmartwhen in first comes out... not even halo 3. they had a surplus ironically haha
