I know every1 has already agreed tht the Cod4 epilogue takes no point in the storyline besides the "terrorist" theme, but i found another very weird gap in it. Why do you eliminate the terrorists, struggle to save all the hostages' lives, and then ditch the innocent people and jump off the plane in the greed to save your own life. Activision, I know you don't want to kill off the characters you already did in the ending of the game, but what is the point of this epilogue??

ROFL i never noticed the people never get off the plane.but the purpose is to make a carzvy challenging level for fun.
first off that was a BONUS Mission from an earlier build of the game when it was more counter terrorism than fictional war SECOND- you ditched NO Innocents..you saved the VIP there was no one left his staff had been killed
Well, that was Air Force One right? And that was a certain "W" that was the hostage? Maybe the guys over at Infinity Ward were making a statement by leaving him on the plane. I was pleasantly surprised with having that little Epilogue by the way. Instead of a cutscene why not play the Epilogue? More games should do that.

They weren't the S.A.S. were they? I thought it was just some random swat team on a plane. It all happened so quick and I played through it only once so I can't be certain.

its also stupid because how in the hell would they get on the plane in the first place, all cramped up with a bunch of sweaty men in a ventalation system.btw, i beat it on veteran ^^

No, actually there were still hostages crawling on the floor.... living no doubt about it.
Secondly, we didnt save the VIP. Maybe we spared his life for 5 seconds from being shot but then we left him explode on the plane. THAT is my point.

um all i saw was one hostage on that plane alive, when you save him one of your man grabs him and jumps out the door with him, then you, and the reason for the epiloge was becuase it was fun, no real meaning to the story just fun plain and simple
First I thought it was a mission that may give you a hint that there will be a sequel at first. But since, COD 5 is going back to WWII, well that was a completely useless to put it in!!!! But, That's just me.
it was a bonus mission they probably put it in there sp they could make a hard achievement and second you do save the hostage one in your team takes him and jumps out
I don't know the point of the mission at all, BUT. The mission was to secure the VIP which the hostages had captive. Once you get him, the plane is about to explode so one of the other guys grabs the VIP and jumps out of the plane, and so do you. Everybody on the plane was a terrorist....So, yeah.
Well, at the beginning you see them cutting a square into the top of the plane, so somehow they got onto the plane then carved a big square then jumped through that and then did what you did. And Nice work on Veteran-Im working on that
