CoD4 or Assassins Creed? Which one?

Hey

I've been thinking of getting a new game for a while.

I got Call of Duty 3 for the wii but I don't like it.

Assassins Creed looks good, but I heard the controls are crap.

I've played both COD4 and Assassins Creed but only for about a minute so I can't decide.

I love shooters, but because I don't have live I'm not sure whether I should get COD4.

PLease help!

P.S. no suggestions for other games

well if u love shooters, COD4 is certain but the story mode is short, depending on the difficulty u r on of coz, but since u don't have live, u won't have much to do after u finish

AC is longer n u get to explore the place after ur done, the controls aren't crap but quite annoying so i would suggest AC instead so u can do more after ur done playing it

but if ur going to get live soon, COD4 if not AC! w00t lol

If you don't have Live that pretty much evens it up. AC can be really repetitive, and COD4's single player is supposedly short. I don't think it is short but almost everyone else does. I would have to say COD4 just because the storyline pulls you in like a movie and the graphics are great and the gameplay is great.

COD 4 has a great campaign, and awsome multiplayer...

I'm gonna have to agree with this guy. I've been playing COD4 nonstop since I got it and I gotta say that it blows AC away. It's the clear choice.

I have Assassins Creed and I am very happy with it, but as you probley have heard it's reppetive, but the good kind.

i love shooters and big halo fan and i also hated all of the old cod's but this onerock my world get cod4 it will last you way longer then aass creed

and look asss creed will only last for 40 hour tops every person i talk to they saidthey only played it once and never go back to it

I don't have assassins creed, but I do have COD, and that's enough for me to say with confidence that you should choose it over A.C. Its a great game.

And I too didn't care much for COD3, and I thought I was taking a huge risk buying it. It's present day, so you don't have to worry about the same old WWII shooter that the previous versions were. Way better weapons and the single player campaign is great.
