I'm getting a new 360 and I already have Halo 3, GRAW, Marvel, and Forza. As the topic suggests, which should I get. I'm looking for a game with outstanding visuals, and a long replay value.
Both are really good, but I prefer Gears, in large part because of the campaign and the ability to play it in co-op mode online. I also like the bloody, visceral feel of Gears more then the war feeling of Call of Duty, but that's just me.;)
CoD was good, but unless you're playing on live it has very little replay value. I haven't really touched it since I beat it (not on live yet, unfortunately). It was the first game I bought for my 360, I really wish I got something else like Gears or Orange Box, just because I'd probably still be playing either of those right now. CoD4 was just really short.

well gears is even shorter. not to mention repetitive.
