The single player is great but i would buy another game if i could nothave the multiplayer but if ur not interested in any other games then get it its lots of fun!!!! ;)
I wouldn't buy it even for the multiplayer. Any time you have to start a game at level 1 and face someone that is lvl 44 or higher in a game there is something wrong. Game is graphically good, but that is about it. Storyline is a blink then your done. A rental at best. At least the game is better then Galo 3.

wow you need to grow a pair if you complain about the ranking system. They give you the best weapons right at the beginning and it doesn't take that long to rank up anyway. Anyway to answer this dudes question the single player is never dull its always intense. The sniping mission is one of the coolest moments in any single-player ever. by the way the people who way its short its only short if you play on an easy difficulty. play it on veteran and your looking at one long and engaging experience that no one should miss. But if your not going to play the MP then i would say don't buy it but defiantly rent it.

Played it on Veteran and it was STILL TOOO easy. ANY time you play against someone that can shoot through cement walls and you are just starting out is not even remotely fun or fair. Don't even start with the weapons being the best in the beginning. They get better with rank and if you can't get cover from somebody that can shoot through walls how are you supposed to kill them with your "better weapons" you got in the beginning of the multiplayer experience?

wow someone gets owned all the time and is not happy about it. As for MP The first few games I played as a level one I won. Thats going up against guys who were anywhere from a few ranks above me to 2 prestige levels above me. (I had the highest score in a team deathmatch game)There is no excuse that you cant play online with people that are higher ranked then you other then you suck. PERIOD.
As for SP. Its a very fast paced intense shooter and on higher difficulty's it takes much longer to complete. I dont think I would buy it just for SP but its more then worth a rent.
The single player is over before you can blink, but its too good not to expirience once so rent it.gamegodYea you cant miss it. Its a rent without multiplayer.
