COD4 Variety Map Pack... Gimme some opinions...

I haven't got it yet, and I'm not sure if I should buy it or not. I'll probably play a lot of COD4 now before Modern Warfare 2 comes out. So, only 4 maps huh..? Are they good? Worth the money? Thanks.

Yeah.

There are four maps....

Broadcast-This is a good map for all game types. A good variety of CQC zones, with some mid to long range mixed in with it.

Chinatown-Some people love it. Running through a downtown area with lots of windows and buildings to camp in. Good Domination map, just allright for everything else.

Creek-Snipers paradise. Playing in the forest with a deep, long creek bed running down the middle. Gets skipped very often. Not a great map.y used

Killhouse-Only used in Free for All (I think, only time I've ever seen it). It's about the same size as Shipment, but with little nooks and crannies all over the place. Kind of a dumb map, but never comes up unless you play FFA.

I would say don't get it because there's only one map that rarely gets skipped and the others are pretty garbage IMO. Keep the points for DLC from MW2.

I thought the map pack was awful the only map that is playable is broadcast and thats only alright

I agree, barely worth it. Whenever people get pissed at others for skipping, they are like "Why did you buy them then!?!". As if we knew they would suck before hand, they look cool if that's all you care about.

I loved the map pack.

If you still play Call of Duty 4 frequently then yes you owe it to yourself to play the new maps. If you only bust the game out once a week or so, save your cash...

I'm going to have to say no, just wait for Modern Warfare 2.

I didn't like the map pack at all. Only one of the maps was fun.

good maps, but at this point you're better off waiting for MW2.

Thanks a lot people! I'm glad you were critical. I'm gonna take your advice, and save the money. I'll get MW2 on release and when it gets DLC's I'll be the first in line to get them. :)
